Here are the accounts from the most recent: A few days ago I got a new w'screen fitted to replace a cracked one. From the initial phone call to the final drive-off, it was a very efficient and pleasurable experience. The lady at the front desk was most helpful over the phone with the insurance claim and advice of that nature and I'm even considering changing insurance companies due to her advice (sorry, can't remember her name). She even called their suppliers then and there when she wasn't sure about something I enquired about. While I was waiting for it to be fitted she was helpful and friendly also. All the guys in the shop I spoke with, Shea, Gavin and Kyle (hope I got the names right...) were all outstanding in their interest and professionalism regarding the fitment, plus advice and interesting information. I was also delighted to hear that they enjoy doing vintage classics as well, as I have various 70s vehicles on the go. The experience prior to that one was about 6 years ago. I needed an empty windscreen carton to ship a rare 1970s hardtop rear screen to Sydney. The friendly staff had no problems finding me something to suit, complete with windscreen supports and padding. And this on a Friday afternoon, and gave it to me for free and a free smile as well. A generous Aussie business with friendly staff, it's obvious that it's a happy business - you can tell a miserable business by how the employees interact with other staff and customers, and it's often a "top-down" affair. Prior to that experience was about 14-15 years ago. My Commodore wagon rear hatch screen was shattered when I closed it and hadn't made sure the steel object in the back was in far enough! I think it was the current owner's father Jeff (?) who came out and put the one (I had sourced myself) in for me. Actually, I had bought a whole other hatch door just for the glass, so he removed the glass from that and put it into mine. I think he only charged me $100 - 120.
